FAQ's

What are the accommodations options?

We are gathering on a small private farm so the accommodations onsite are only rustic field tent camping.

 

There is no electricity, no showers (just the creek and maybe a small outdoor camp shower), and no individual fire/cooking areas. There are portable toilets within a short walk from the camping area.

 

Space will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Check-in is Thursday at 9 am (no early check-in available) and check out is Sunday at 3pm.

Alternative nearby accommodations include:

  •  Area Campsites

  •  VRBO in nearby towns of Old Fort, and Black Mountain

 

What are the dining options?

We are being hosted on a private property/farmland and therefore there are no on-site dining options available; We will be offering participation in our vegetarian  ‘community pop-up kitchen’ - details to be determined. Alternatively, please consider bringing your own food for picnics, visiting local food eateries such as supermarkets, restaurants, diners & cafes during the lunch break.   

 

Our ‘ vegetarian community kitchen’ option will be on a donation basis.

 

We will have 2-3 chef volunteers available during meal times to assist in organizing community meals based on food donated by community members (vegetables, fruit, etc.).

 

Details including menu suggestions to be emailed after accommodations are purchased.

Do I get a ticket or need an ID to register or check-in?

No, we will have your name on our list and have your welcome package waiting when you arrive to check-in. You can always print or have your receipt handy as a back up. Note: the cart set up can be confusing - once you return to our page your sale should be complete - you can confirm this by checking your email for a confirmation of the sale.

 

What do I need to bring?

Our stage is outdoors – all speaker presentations, workshops, events will be held outdoors – weather permitting.

The stage is covered and the show will go on rain or shine.

 

Please bring lawn chairs, lawn blankets, yoga mats and wear hats, sunscreen, sunglasses and appropriate layered clothing for outdoor summer mountain weather.

RED flashlights preferred for skywatches. 

Can I bring my children?

Yes! we encourage families to bring your children. Children under the age of 16 accompanied by an adult are free of charge for admission and for on-site camping. 

Can I bring my pet?

The owners of our venue have struggled with the decision as they do love animals, but for a variety of reasons, they have a strict ‘no pets’ on the premises policy. Please leave your four legged friends at home for this one.

How are we co-creating and honoring the land and all living beings?

Appalachia Starseed Reunion (ASR) Core Collaborators acknowledge the importance of and agree to offer effort toward Atonement. We have requested assistance from the Land and Beings inhabiting our venue with the intention of Co-Creating a Zero Point Space with Infinite Possibilities for our Starseed Reunion.

 

Mission of Atonement and Co-Creation

We, the ASR Core Collaborators, intend to Co-Create a Positive and Expansive Experience of Cosmic Awakening with All Living Beings for the Benefit of all Participants.

ASR Core Collaborators accept the Mission of Clearing and Transmuting past negative Human Debris to Align their Will with Creator and to call in the Beings inhabiting the Event Space for the purpose of Co-Creating the Event Experience and ensuring the Highest and Best Possible for All Living Beings.

ASR Core Collaborators Invite All Participants to Mindfully Acknowledge the Land and Beings through thought, word, and deed.

 

As we humans hold the Highest Intention of Honor for all Beings and behave accordingly, we will Experience the Community of Co-Creation and the Conscious Evolution We Seek.
